Sengchanh Xeuatvongsa joined Swisscontact in January 2020 as a Provincial Technical Coordinator under VTESS Project based in Khammouan Province. In 2010, he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Rural Economy and Food Technology at National University of Laos (NUoL).
His main responsibilities are to support the Component Manager in implementing the IVET pathway component of the project. Particularly, to lead the project activities in field and also works closely with the Integrated Vocational and Education Training (IVET) school and other relevant stakeholders in the Khammouan province. Furthermore, he also works closely with the ESS coordinator on issues of ESS delivery in the province.
Previously, Sengchanh worked at WWF Laos as a Livelihood Officer and his mainly responsibilities were to prepare monthly work plans and provide support to develop annual and quarterly/six-month work plans, designing and implementing environmentally friendly alternative income models and pilot small scale aquaculture, strengthening technical capacity for target group through organize trainings and skill development sessions, monitoring activity implementation identify arising issues and provide solutions.
