“Kosovo Diaspora has started to behave more like tourists. There was a surge of domestic tourism this year. However, the country needs to attract more regional tourists, with Albania heading this segment. There is room to grow regional tourism from Bulgaria, Turkey, North Macedonia and Serbia,” stated Swisscontact Kosovo Country Director Argjentina Grazhdani at a panel on tourism and media.
The panel, with the topic “Tourism, Culture, and Industry, as Public Diplomacy Tool for Networking and Cooperation in Southeast Europe” was organized in the presence of representatives from news agencies from the region. The panel was part of the proceedings of the 29th General Assembly of the Association of the Balkan News Agencies Southeastern Europe (ABNA) organized by Kosovapress and supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and Foundation Friedrich Ebert.
