In 2021, Swisscontact Latin America continued to strengthen synergies with the private and public sectors with the aim of achieving more equal, inclusive and resilient societies that are able to meet the challenges and difficulties facing the region.

Our impact

Swisscontact is implementing 35 projects in nine Latin American countries. This is our impact in figures in 2021:

34,119
people, of whom 53% are women, completed job skills development programmes, entrepreneurship- and labour market insertion programmes.
6,173
people, of whom 55% are women, found a job or have started or improved their own business.
13,672
farmers and SMEs had access to improved products and services and made CHF 6,729,260 in additional income.
