Peter Leibacher joined Swisscontact in February 2017 as a Programme Associate to support destination management functions, services and products for the Mekong Inclusive Growth and Innovation Programme (MIGIP) in tourism development.

Previously based in Kampot/Cambodia, Peter now works in the country office in Vientiane/Lao PDR for technical support and initiatives in market development and is the SEC Programme Coordinator for Lao PDR.

Prior to his engagement in development cooperation, Peter worked in the private sector and co-founded an architecture company in Zurich/Switzerland.

He holds a Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) degree in Development & Cooperation and a M.Sc. in Architecture, both from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.
