MengLy joined Swisscontact in August 2020 as a Junior Communication Officer, who works to support the communication work of all interventions under the Mekong Inclusive Growth and Innovation Project (MIGIP). He possesses a wide range of skills ranging from photography/videography, graphic designer, writing news articles to research development all of which are mostly earned through his year-long experience as both a journalist student and intern. His internship journey started in early 2018 at the Voice of America (VOA) based in Phnom Penh and later in the year, MengLy got a chance to upgrade his production skill to another level through his internship at Thai Public Broadcasting Service (Thai PBS) based in Bangkok, Thailand. Throughout these years, he has frequently involved in on-the-field reports, interviews and data gathering.

Other experiences  include being a member and a project coordinator of Peace Media of the U.S Ambassador’s Youth Council of US embassy Phnom Penh and the project co-coordinator of Major & Career Fairs 2018 at Fulbright and Undergraduate State Alumni Association of Cambodia (FUSAAC). Academically, he was an alumnus of the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (UGRAD), where he, under the support of the U.S Department of States, went to pursue a semester study in Communication at Juniata College, Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, the U.S. Aside from this, MengLy is a double degree holder in Media management and International Relations from the Royal University of Phnom Penh.
